Travel around Bali

Bali is an island that has beautiful scenery, surrounded by white sandy beaches (compared with Ancol beach, Jakarta), has many temples and other historic buildings, so that Bali has a special attraction for tourists both domestic and foreign countries. Some say that in Bali we can meet people from any country in the world, France, America, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Arab, anyway we can all meet here. So do not feel confessed nation of Indonesia, if you've never been abroad but had never been to Bali. Was the only foreign people coming to Bali jauh2, our time in the country has not even been there. What the world says?
There are several tourist attractions which are generally visited during a vacation in Bali:
Ground zero, this is the first Bali bombing monument. There, emblazoned the names of victims of the Bali bombing, you will find the monument is on the way to Kuta beach. Hopefully no more chaos in Bali, because of information we can from the people there, Bali tourism devastated by the bomb bali 1 and 2. Foreign tourist arrivals is reduced drastically, and many employers out of business. Though the majority of the population relies on Bali tourism business.

Jalan Pantai Kuta
Along the road to Kuta beach there is a row of bars, restaurants, hotels and shops that sell clothing, paintings, art, etc.. But JalanJajanHemat advised to buy oleh2 in other areas because the actual target buyers in the region are foreign tourists. Price of goods here can be quite high. Why?? Because the store rents exorbitant price in this area you know ..

Kuta beach
Kuta beach. This is a must for the tourist beaches. This beach has good waves, so many surfers play on this beach. This beach is visited by foreign tourists, most of them swimming, sunbathing, surfing, running along the beach. For entry into this area is free of charge, at only the cost of parking alone. On this beach, you will find the service vendor massage, hair braiding, temporary tattoos, chair rental, well just so crowded there. If you are just a short vacation but want to experience the beach, enjoy a few moments, we want to remember my vacation? Not want to swim ...

Hardrock Hotel
Hardrock Hotel, in this place you can swim in the pool are large and comfortable. Warm aqueous pool you know, so do not worry if you are swimming through the night. In the middle of the pond there is a sandy area, is quite unique, because the sand is very clean and not make a dirty pond. There are waterfalls, there is a waterslide-equipped pool boy, and even mounted projector screens that broadcast the film. Dressing room was nice, towels, soaps of all available complete. But the price of admission here pretty expensive swimming pool, 100 thousand per person. In addition to swimming pools, here there is also a spa, gym, cafe, even a hard rock radio bali know in it, we can see they're on the water.
In general, the tour package will incorporate the following attractions in one package, namely: Tanjung Benoa, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), coastal dream land, Uluwatu temple and the last dinner while watching the sunset at Jimbaran.
Tanjung Benoa. On this beach we can do a lot of water sports such as jetski, parasailing (a parachute pulled by a speedboat), banana boat, flying fish (I thought this game for granted, but after seeing firsthand how his game, really exciting wauw ..), diving, glass bottom boat. You can rent a boat which is basically mounted on the glass so it can see into the water. Be careful when renting, the price of an existing price list that can be bargained like crazy. Fortunately, before I could go browsing and search information such permainan2 prices. Here are some prices that I can get on the internet (July 2008)
Parasailing: Rp 55,000 / person
Banana Boat: Rp 50,000 / person (min 2 org)
Flying fish: Rp 120,000 / person (min 2 org)
Water skiing: Rp 110,000 / person, 15 minutes
Snorkeling: Rp 90,000 / person (min 2 org)
Diving: Rp 235.000 / org
Glass bottom boat: Rp 250,000 / boat (max 10 org)
Dolphin tour: Rp 500,000 / person / 4 hours
When I asked them to one operator, to rent a glass bottom boat charged Rp 500,000 / boat, luckily I already knew this harga2 before, after bargaining finally dropped in price of Rp 250,000 / boat. By using the boat, we can look to the ocean floor, feeding the fish with bread that has been provided and also visit the turtle breeding at the same time (there are some places). There we can take pictures with animals such as snakes, birds, bats and turtles, of course. On the island there are also crafts, also sell young coconuts to relieve thirst. Admission to the island is charged Rp 2,000 / person who said to the maintenance of the animals there. JJH recommend this place ..
Operators we use: Benoa Marine Recreation (BMR Dive & Water Sport), Jl Pratama No. 99X, phone: (0361) 771 757
Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK). Located in Jimbaran area, southern island of Bali, will be built here in the form of a large statue of the god Vishnu, who is sitting on an eagle. When in July 2008, the giant statue, designed by I Nyoman Nuarta are still separate, the statue of the god Vishnu, and also the hands of the statue of garuda god Vishnu. This statue will be a symbol like the Statue of Liberty in America. Its location on the hill, just beautiful scenery there. GWK is also equipped with a display area for the theater sendra Balinese dance (depending on show schedule). At the entrance, greeted by the music that accompanies the second Bali Bali dancers who welcome guests. Do not miss the pedestal there are several shops, food stalls and even factory outlet (where the idol of mothers). Some tour operators make GWK location for the evening meal while enjoying the sunset. Entrance fee of Rp 15,000 / person + car Rp 5,000. Rather expensive to get into this place, but if this statue is so, then this place is definitely a 'must-see places'.
Dreamland beach. Located in one direction with its pedestal, where it is shown being built five-star hotels and resorts. This region had 'worked' by Tommy Suharto, but abandoned after the New Order regime collapsed. This beach looks cleaner than Kuta beach, and more foreign tourists than local visitors. But I think far enough distance that needs to be taken to reach this beach and its location is somewhat remote. (Or maybe it is sought after by foreign tourists). If later the hotel and resort projects already completed, this beach would be more crowded. To get into this area, only the parking of vehicles be charged Rp 2,000 for the car. According to JJH, if you do not like the pool should not have to go to this place.
Luhur Uluwatu temple. This temple is situated at the western tip of the peninsula hills, it is called Ulu Watu which means the end and that means stone. This temple is located on the rocks that jutted into the sea. The view from here luaaarrr biaasaa .. JJH recommend this place. Before entering the site, each visitor was asked to wear a scarf (and plus the use of fabric for the shorts) as a tribute to the ancestors who are in that location. This temple is surrounded by forests of monkeys in which there is said to be faithful followers of the holy priest who was assigned to guard the noble Uluwatu temple. Be careful with your luggage: hats, sunglasses, camera, necklace, earrings are advised to be stored in a safe place. Because monkeys are sometimes fun and take things from the hands of tourists. Many who took the branch to be taken in order to avoid the cruel hand of the monkey, but remember not to disturb / harm the monkeys. There is also no Kecak dance performance (with an additional cost) is located on the cliff edge. Well just going to sound decakan awe of every visitor who comes here. For tickets go to this location is only Rp 3,000 only.
Well for the next tour package, usually coupled between Tanah Lot, Bedugul, Taman Ayun (some are combining with the Kintamani), and if we rent a car can also be directed to Ubud, Celuk, Sukowati Market.

Tanah Lot
Tanah Lot. This place is located in the Village Beraban, 13 km west of Tabanan. This is one of the sights that must be visited by JJH. There are two temples, one located above the boulder, and only in the cliffs. When the water receded, we can walk across to the temple in the middle of the beach, but should not be entered except to pray. Below the cliffs there are areas of the holy snake. The legend says that the snake came from the founder of the temple scarves, Danghyang Nirarta as temple guards. Many like to enjoy the sunset in this place .. If dipikir2 in Bali were more places to Sunset ya? Entrance to this place and Rp Rp 7.500/dewasa 5.000/anak2, while for foreign tourists Rp. 10.000/orang.

Bedugul
Bedugul. This place is located on the hill, so the temperature there is very cool, 18 degrees Celsius, you know (like in the Lembang, Bandung). There are also lake Beratan, you have two choices, get off at the dock (usually a local tourist group), then do the tour around the temple Ulundanu water, or a direct visit to the temple Ulundanu, and see the lake (usually individual tourists or foreigners) . JJH recommended to enter into the temple area Ulundanu, because we can enjoy the scenery more beautiful. Entrance fee of Rp 7,500 to Rp 10,000 for domestic and foreign tourists.

Pura Taman Ayun
Pura Taman Ayun. Pura, which means "Beautiful Garden" is located in the village of Mengwi, Badung. This temple is surrounded by a small trench that is said is often passed by the palace maids using small boats. In the center there is a monument fountain that leads to 9 of the wind. There is a tower that is bale kul-kul where you can climb onto it, and see the sights around the site easily. Admission price of Rp 3,000 / person. But sorry, think JJH is not very special place.

Sculpture artisans in Bali
If you like art objects, you might want to visit Tohpati (batik), Celuk (silversmith), Rock (painting), Kemenuh (wood sculptor), Ubud Art Market (BLANCO Renaissance Museum). And also if you watch a lot of artisans in Bali Buddha statue, but there's sample many different Hindu? When JJH ask the driver as well as tour guides, artisans came from outside Bali, and because of the many foreign guests who are interested in the Buddha statue, the craftsman is flourishing in Bali.
